UB is set to take on Bob Huggins and the West Virginia Mountaineers at 2:10pm.  UB has picked up some regional and national traction as an upset candidate.  In order for them to advance today, there are three facets of the game where they must succeed.

1.  West Virginia will press and trap throughout the majority of the game.  Lamonte Beardon and Shannon Evans must stay calm and poised.  Although UB only averages slightly over eleven turnovers per game, they have not seen a press quite like WVU's.

Key #1 - Less than 15 turnovers.

2.  Juwan Staten is a senior guard who leads WVU in scoring.  The Dayton, Ohio native is excited to be playing in his first NCAA tournament game so close to home.  Staten has missed the last four games for WVU, one of the reasons for their recent struggles (ousted in Big 12 quarterfinals).  Although he returns today, it will be critical to pressure him and disallow a seamless return to the lienup. Staten committed seven turnovers in his last two games before his injury.

Key #2 - Pressure Staten - Keep him under 12.0 points and cause three or more turnovers.

3.  Simple.  Box out - DO not allow second chance opportunities.  Play Physical.

Key #3 - Win the Rebounding battle.
