Bills at Eagles: Week Fourteen Preview

The City of Good Neighbors goes to the City of Brotherly Love.  Only there is no love lost between LeSean McCoy and his former team.  Care to guess who will represent the Bills in the Coin toss?  For the answer to that question and more, check out The Herd Reports' Game Preview.

Another big one!  Personally, I am very pessimistic about the Bills' playoff chances, but I love the Shady McCoy storyline and am interested to see how it plays out.  #ChipCantShakeShit

Rex Ryan didn't take the field during warm-ups against the Jets because he didn't want to make the story "about him."  So it was appropriate and amusing when Rex told the media this week that he wouldn't be sending Shady McCoy out for warm-ups this week.  Smooth Rex.  Anyways, the focus for me in this game is going to be on who wins the turnover battle.  Philadelphia has one of the highest forced turnover rates in the NFL defensively while Tyrod Taylor has been near perfect (excepting the first Patriots' game) in protecting the football.  The other major factor is how well the Bills' Defense can finish the game.  The Eagles have had a lot of slow starts this year with strong finishes.  The Bills cannot allow the Eagles to gain momentum in the second half.

This game is obviously huge.  I'll pencil LeSean McCoy in for 100 yards right now, and probably more.  I think the Bills win, but the Eagles beat down of the Patriots definitely makes it interesting, though its worth noting that the Patriots were also without Gronkowski last week.  That said, given our special teams struggles, we should take notes considering the Eagles picked up 21 points on special team in that win.

This should be a good one.  A Buffalo Bills Shady vs a Philadelphis Eagles Legend of Kiko Alonso.  Time to see the value of that trade head to head on the field.  And it comes at a time when the Bills need a win to keep their playoff dreams alive. It just shows you a bit of how every decision matters and can be impactful later on.
