The Buffalo Bills Vs New York Jets: In Detroit

The Buffalo Bills will play the New York Jets on Monday November 24th at Ford Field in Detroit. This 7pm matchup is the result from Buffalo getting pounded with one of the worst snow falls in history and Detroit kindly reaching out to help with allowing the use of their stadium for the game. “We are honored to be hosting the Bills and the Jets on Monday night,” team President Tom Lewand said. With the NFL approving this its all in place.

Free tickets are available for the game and both the Bills and Detroit Lions season ticket holders were being emailed theirs while the general public has had their opportunity as early as Saturday November 22.

What’s really great is that this game will offer the fans attending the ability to participate in a 50/50 raffle during the game with the proceeds benefiting the American Red Cross of Western and Central New York Disaster Relief Fund.

There was no way to have this game on Sunday as scheduled and the Bills have been at such a disadvantage with the Town of Orchard Park along with many others being shut down for so long and the Bills coaches and players only communicating through emails during that time.

With the travel ban lifted, The Bills are asking for help and those willing to shovel out that snow at Ralph Wilson Stadium would be paid $10 per hour, plus a game ticket for a remaining game based on availability.

The good news for those shovelers is that they do not have to worry about the snow in the end zones as the Bills do not go into them, so why shovel this…right?  Hey we need to have a sense of humor with all this depressing news as of late

Let’s hope this game is a rallying cry for all Buffalo has been put through with this storm.

Miami Lost to Denver on Sunday so a win will have the Bills tied with Miami.

I really believe the Bills will play well and win one for not only their slim hopes for the playoffs, but for all of western NY for all we have endured!
